Monday, June 29, 2009 Hail stones strip crops Wayne and Peg Winckler farm, located northwest of Tyndall, along with other farms received hail damage June 25, as well as three and one-half inches of rain. The swath of the hail was approximately one-half mile wide by five miles long going to the north. Crop adjusters estimated damage to crops from 50% to completely destroyed.
